Beautiful and rare French large gold watch key — with intricate floral and foliate details rendered in chased and stippled bi-colored gold (rosy yellow with green highlights).
Bail is on a swivel mechanism. Gorgeous patina.
Looks amazing on a long chain.
Marked with French ram’s head (for gold assayed in Paris, 1819-38) and maker’s mark.
18k gold, metal (in the key shaft)
