(SOLD) Stuart Crystal and Gold Ring
Photos and videos provided via IG. Pre-list pricing.
Many Stuart crystals are set in silver. This one is set in high karat gold, with the rock crystal gemstone and cypher clear and in wonderful antique condition. We love the touch of pink from the foil.
The crystal was likely originally part of a cufflink or other jewel. A master jeweler has created a shank by hand, designed to echo the striated lines of the crystal’s stepped setting.
This Stuart crystal ring is so chic and modern in aesthetic, yet steeped in 300 years of history.
Marked 18k on the shank; crystal is unmarked.
18k (shank); at least 18k on the Stuart crystal’s setting; rock crystal.
Dimensions and weight:
● US size 5.5 (may be resized by your own very skilled jeweler; please inquire with your jeweler)
● 9.7 mm wide/long on the crystal
● 5.3 mm deep
● 3.1 grams
Period: Stuart/Early Georgian (late 17th to early 18th century)/Contemporary for the shank.
*Please note that all dimensions and weights are approximate. Age-commensurate wear may be present. Please take care not to submerge this ring in fluids.
