Classic, Elegant.

A quintessentially French piece. We were so pleased to find this exemplar in Paris: a locket, circa 1890-1900, with an 18k gold frame holding a pair of original faceted beveled glass panels.

The frame is rendered in the “bound reeds” motif from the era of King Louis XVI, representing strength through unity. It is subtle, but the ribbons and reeds are of slightly different colors of gold — yellow for the reeds and green for the ribbons.

Place a personal memento inside, or leave unadorned for a minimalist elegance. We think a pet portrait would be just perfect!

The frame unscrews at the top to release the beveled panels.

We will include the original images (portrait of a gentleman) with the locket.
