Wear this long and lean or doubled. Or, fasten the clasp on any loop along the chain for a “Y” necklace or to shorten the chain. The chain is ideally proportioned — not too wide, not too thin. Wear solo, letting the mariner links stand on their own, or add a statement pendant.

Marked 18k, 750, Italy, with partially obscured maker’s mark believed to be “247 VI” for Ganazzin Domenico (mark registered in 1958).

Period: 20th Century, 1960s (pre-1968 based on the distinctive shape of the maker’s mark lozenge).
