(JULY 4, 1776 EVENT) Antique Rare Victorian Full Arm Coral Figa with Cornicello Charms
Happy July 4th! Until July 4, use code JULY4FIGA at checkout for 17.76% off!
Strength, Power.
Here is the ultimate in protective talismans — in a seldom found configuration of an entire arm (not just a mere hand), clutching a bundle of cornicello charms.
Everything about this pendant is compelling — the size, the talismanic properties, the density and saturated color of the antique coral, and the vivid Etruscan revival gold work.
Such a scarce find (we have seen perhaps one other on this scale). We love this on a period chain or collar.
Unmarked.
14k and 15k gold (except the “bracelet” which is not gold); coral, turquoise (possibly paste).
Dimensions and weight:
● 9.5 cm long (incl. loop)
● 13.7 mm wide/deep (at top of the “arm")
● 12.2 grams
Period: Victorian (circa 1870s)
*Please note that all dimensions and weights are approximate. Age-commensurate wear may be present.
This item ships only within the United States.
