Ethereal, Romantic.
A large Belle Epoque locket, circa 1900-10, is crafted of platinum-topped gold, set with single- and rose-cut diamonds and pearls. Ingeniously, the double-sided glass fronted locket is set upon an axis — allowing it to swivel. You choose which side to present to the outside world, and which to keep unseen, close to your heart.
The locket contains two inserts of black velvet, which of course may be replaced with your own personal mementos.
We love the stately size of the locket, tempered by the delicacy of the stylized garland.
