Rare, bold, beautiful. This is a vintage, large scale gold Gucci buckle belt bangle, circa 1960s. The buckle is modeled as an enameled good luck horseshoe. The bangle hinges open at the back and ingeniously snaps securely shut in the front, with the belt passing through the buckle. Classic, signature Gucci belt design.

Marked Gucci, Italy, 750, and the maker’s mark of the Florentine firm of Falciai e Michelassi, pre-1968.

18k gold, enamel.
