(SOLD) Vintage Gold Quatrefoil Key Charm Holder and Pendant
Gothic, Dramatic.
We absolutely adore this substantial gold key. Originally a super luxe key ring, this is so versatile as a multitasking pendant, charm holder, and (of course) key ring. Pull up and twist the quatrefoil top of the key 90 degrees counterclockwise to open the mechanism to slip on your charms, chain, or other accoutrement of choice. Another pull and twist clockwise, and the top springs back into place to keep your treasures safe. (See fourth image to see the key when it is opened).
The quatrefoil shape imparts a distinctively Gothic and Renaissance vibe — think stained glass quatrefoil windows in cathedrals or on the exterior of the Doge’s Palace in Venice. The quatrefoil is also a direct reference to the good luck four leaf clover. Bonus — note the smooth and textured finishes.
Wear with charms added or as a solo pendant. We love this on one of our Deconstructed Series chains, but feel free to experiment.
Chains and charms shown are not included.
Marked with French owl and unidentified marks.
18k gold.
Dimensions and weight:
● 49.2 mm long
● 21.9 mm wide
